PEER REVIEW POLICY & PROCESS

SGR Journals is dedicated to maintaining high academic and ethical standards through a structured peer review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, ensuring that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to promote unbiased evaluation.

Selection of Reviewers: Reviewers for SGR Journals selected based on their expertise, experience, and reputation in the relevant field. The editorial board is responsible for appointing reviewers with a commitment to maintaining objectivity, impartiality, and confidentiality.

Reviewers evaluate the submitted manuscripts and provide constructive feedback and specific suggestions for improvement, which are shared with the authors to enhance the quality of their work. Reviewers evaluate submissions across major categories:

Reviewers Assess Originality: Evaluates the novelty of the research idea, approach, or findings, and its contribution to advancing the field.

Methodology: Assesses the soundness, appropriateness, and clarity of the research design, tools, and analytical techniques used.

Research content: Checks the depth, coherence, and scholarly value of the study, including its alignment with research objectives.

Correctness: Ensures the accuracy of data, calculations, and interpretations, confirming that conclusions are supported by evidence.

Relevance: Determines whether the manuscript fits the scope of the journal and addresses current or important topics in the field.

Coverage of the topic: Reviews how comprehensively the manuscript explores the subject, including literature and contextual background.

Accessibility, including readability: Judges the clarity, organization, and language of the manuscript, ensuring it is understandable to its target audience.

Significance, and Adherence to Ethical Standards: Considers the research’s impact, practical implications, and importance within the academic and professional community.

Adherence to Ethical Standards: Verifies that the study follows ethical guidelines, including proper citations, consent, and approval for research involving humans or animals.

Appeals: Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions. Appeals should be submitted in writing email to editor@sgrjournals.org, accompanied by a detailed response to the reviewers’ comments and the editor’s decision.

Final decision: The editor carefully evaluates all reviewers' feedback and makes the final decision regarding publication, either to accept or reject the manuscript. If necessary, the editor may ask the author for an updated version.
